Thanksgiving Football

Postby whatwild » Thu Nov 12, 2009 5:43 pm

Thanksgiving is a great time to watch football after all your with Family eating and having a great time.

I would like to do a Contest for that day.

We Need 6 cards per person one card per team Gu/Ref./auto/#d/star Rc for all 6 teams but only out of the teams playing that day

here are the Teams Playing
Green Bay/Lions
Oakland/Dallas
Giants/Denver

If alot of people play that will be fine but heres how it works its a Guess the Score with a tiebreaker of YDS for the winning team. You can guess at all three games but there can be diffrent winners. Say if Repo wins the Dallas/Okland game but looses the others he gets all cards from Oakland/Dallas Lot. and he will not win other game lots.

Someone will know how to explain it better im sure

What happens if everybody who plays gets all of the games correct?
Which game is the tie breaker?

Besides, Repo always wins!
I collect Braves (And Phillies, in a pinch).

Sounds cool but I need to look at what I have for cards from these 6 teams. Also, just to make sure I understand how this works. We all pick which team we think will win the game, total points and total yards for each game. Who ever pick the winner and is closest to without going over to the total score wins that game. If there is still a tie then you use total passing and rushing yards and who ever is closest without going over is the winner. Then everyone who lost sends their 2 cards from those teams to the winner. So in theory there could be 3 winners?
I collect David Wright, Jose Reyes, Carlos Beltran, other known Mets, Syr Orange, Jets & NY Rangers. Check my website for Auto's, GU's, HOF, Inserts, etc, some scans, searchable player by name

yes there can be multiple winners and you will only need total yards for winner not both teams.. Passing and rushing combined

Nash- you're probably right..I generally don't win at stuff like this...lol. But it feels good when I'm told I win everything...false sense of security

ww- It's up to you if everyone lists what they are putting up. I just thought I'd ask you what you wanted to do. 8)

The yards only matter if there's a tie right? WW how are you gonna judge who won? Closest to the score? You going to add the two teams points together and see who's closest, or what?

Nash,

I believe that you won by getting all three winners. The others only got two correct.
